Consigning with CCS is easy.

We take pieces from luxury designers, contemporary labels and boutique lines. CCS staff are happy to help you through wardrobe estate liquidation. Our store is curated seasonally and intentionally in order to cater to our shoppers. Items should be clean and in like-new condition. We do not take vintage items, only current trends within the last 2 years.

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?

Nope! Consignment is available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-4pm & Thursday 11am-6pm. As a consignor, please allow a maximum of 15 minutes for your look through. We put a lot of attention and detail into selecting the perfect items for our store. If you opt to drop-off your items, anything CCS does not accept will be donated. We highly suggest doing a look through. 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY ITEMS FOR A LOOK THROUGH?

Please bring all items freshly laundered or dry cleaned in a laundry basket, bin or on disposable hangers. Bags and shoes should be wiped down prior to arrival and emptied of any personal belongings. Items should be from the current season and less than 3 years old.  We are very label driven, please see the list of acceptable designers below. If you have questions about a designer, please call the store.

WHAT IS THE SPLIT?

The consignor receives 50% of the final net selling price excluding tax and buyers fees. Designer bags/fine jewelry over $500 are 60/40 split; over $1,000 are 65/35; over $2,000 are 70/30, always in the favor of the consignor.  Keep your payout as store credit and get 10% more with an in-store purchase.

HOW DO I RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR ITEMS THAT HAVE SOLD?

Once an item(s) sells, there are two payout options. (1) Direct deposit, which is available through your online consignor account. This will provide secure, monthly deposits directly into the account of your choosing. CCS will not have access to your banking information at any time. (2) Let it roll and check on demand allows you to keep your earnings in your account until you are ready to grab a check. You are able to do this whenever you would like, we write the check on the spot. If you choose to spend your store credit, you will receive an additional 10%.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ITEMS SOLD?

Consignors are responsible for tracking their items through their online consignor account. If you no longer have access to your login information, or need assistance navigating your account, please call the store or email us at clevelandconsignmentshoppe@gmail.com.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEM DOESN'T SELL?

During your look through, a CCS staff member will provide you with an expiration date for your items. The consignor is responsible for keeping track of this date for their own items. Your consignor access will also state the expiration date for each of your items. If the consignor fails to pick up their items within 2 weeks of expiration, they will be donated.
